You've been warned … I'm boring

Veterinarians and taking a break

My veterinarian’s web site, which I designed, is now officially up and running:

http://www.phoenixmountainah.com/

And, of course I used a photo of Clank and Ratchet in the rotating photos on the page. :) I tried to use one of the cats too, but I couldn’t find a good one that worked for those dimensions. There are a couple of pages that still need content, but those will be added in time.

It’s fun when you get to work on a site for something that interests you. I mean, I enjoy working on ALL of the websites I do, but, you know…  And Dr. Kanarish is a good dude. He’s been our vet for several years (he used to work at a different practice, but recently left there to open up his own place.) He’s been a huge help with our dogs’ allergies and Ratchet’s seizures.

In other news, I’m making myself completely take a day off from exercising today. I haven’t taken a day off in a while — it’s either been running 7+ miles or hitting the elliptical for at least an hour. And in the last few days I did a 10 mile run and 90 minutes on the elliptical. I planned to run this morning but my legs just feel stiff, heavy and tired. I think they are begging for a little break. I’ll get back out there tomorrow. The only cruddy thing about not exercising is I can’t eat as many calories. Basically I’m stuck at 1200 for the day. And that mocha frappuccino drink I had earlier burned through about 300 of them so….it might be slim pickings until dinner. Ah well. I made my husband hide the container of chocolate covered almonds he bought last night at Fresh and Easy.  Because if he leaves them where I can see them, I WILL eat the entire package. Not maybe, not might, but WILL. I’m totally addicted to them…
